They removed two large flower beds and contents, removed the existing lawn, prepared the ground and added significant amounts of topsoil before finally laying turf. I have worked with Ainsley and Neal for many years now on a number of my design projects (including being part of the landscape team that created my silver-gilt award winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden in 2018). Not only are Gardenscapes excellent landscapers but they are always a pleasure to work with. They are always happy to offer advice and are sympathetic to the needs of their clients, while taking great pride in their work.

In 2016 Neal and Ainsley created a beautiful garden for our new-build home. We worked on the design with Neal and together with Ainsley they created our wonderful garden. They worked efficiently, cleaned up every day and offered useful advice for the upkeep and maintenance. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Great customer service and a great job completed, in good time. Fantastic value for money and would definitely both recommend and use gardenscapes again.

Neal and Ainsley at Gardenscapes did a whole new revamp of our garden back in 2006 to a very good finish. Neal did the designs to my specifications and saw it being transformed completely to what we had asked for in the beginning. They worked well, cleaning up at the end of each day. They were polite and extremely efficient and were happy to make a few changes that we wanted. Now we have a garden to be proud of and one that we like to sit in and enjoy. Our trees and bushes have now grown and are well established and give us much pleasure. They have done a couple of smaller works for us since that time and we have been pleased with the results. We would recommend them to everyone who wants a lovely place to enjoy over the years.

I worked with Neal and Ainsley on a project in Oxted, Surrey - they built a garden I had loosely designed - translating broad ideas into an actual landscape. With their help and flexibility we were able to overcome all of the issues on site collaboratively. I would definitely work with them again!

In April 2018, Neal and co did a great job transforming our postage stamp size back garden, on The Acres estate, into an interesting and relaxing space. It still looks great today. Thanks guys.

Neal and Ainsley were great to have around and did a first class job that included some adaptations as the project continued. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We are very happy with our new patio and pergola and with the addition of some cat proofing after the local cats discovered fresh soil surrounding the patio. They did what they said, when they said, and were very careful and neat with the rest of the garden We certainly would recommend them if asked.

We used Gardenscapes in June 2018 to carry out a pretty big overhaul of our back garden (2 large areas of ‘Millboard Decking’, 2 areas of Porcelain paving stones... and re-turfing of our lawn). Gardenscapes (Ainsley & Neil) came highly recommended to us by a friend... and we would not hesitate to use them again if we were to undertake any further projects. Upon initial contact with Gardenscapes... Ainsley spent a generous amount of time with us (over at least 4 separate visits to our house)... to discuss options (design, materials etc) and to make sure that what we wanted would be feasible... and that it would work in practice. Ainsley was very patient... considering we changed our minds a couple of times re designs etc. After a number of weeks we came to a decision regarding a final design and specification. The project took just over 3 weeks to complete... and at all times we felt that their workmanship was first class. Ainsley and Neil are very nice guys, and were hard working and reliable. We were kept fully informed as to what was going on at each stage. They are very experienced and professional... but would always take time out to answer any of our questions/queries etc. The quote they gave us was the amount we paid. It’s been 8 months now since the work was completed.. and the garden looks great. We spent more on top rate materials and a quality job... but we now have a very well put together garden... that I’m sure will provide us with many years of pleasure and enjoyment.

We hired Gardenscapes to design and create the back garden of our new-build house which was laid to lawn with just a small patio and path. After meeting to discuss ideas, Neal produced a great design for a Mediterranean haven. It was a major project executed with professionalism and dedication. Despite the scale of the work, the garden was left clean and tidy each night and there was minimal disruption. We were able to discuss the garden with Neal and Ainsley as it developed so we got exactly what we wanted: different areas of sandstone patio, a brickwork path, lawn, pergolas, raised bed, rocky area with assorted grasses and borders planted with a Mediterranean flavour – olive and pencil cypress trees, jasmine and clematis, lavender and a variety of shrubs of differing colours and textures. The overall effect is stunning and what was a relatively small garden now looks very big with its different areas. The help and advice that Neal and Ainsley have given us has also been invaluable. It has been a pleasure to know them and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gardenscapes. We are extremely happy customers!
